The very lifeblood of the organisation, the foundation stone for all its activities and the one asset on the 'books' that needs to be nourished thoroughly in order for it to bloom.

These days people are for all seasons, are multidisciplinary and flexible and work in a changing environment. They are usually loyal where provided with lifeblood requirements. They are the 'bottom line'. This means we must re-focus our thinking somewhat to ensure we deliver the needs of this single important resource. Training and re-training is one key to success. Providing for growth and development from that first induction program through to ongoing re-tooling with fresh ideas and approaches will nurture this resource to deliver 'outside the box' and offer a return beyond value at all levels in an organisation. Financials must be monitored, controlled and delivered on – that's business.
